This insurance policy is subject to the following condition and is available to United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland residents under the age of 65 years and under only.

IMPORTANT: PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS CLAUSE

1) Passengers are not covered (for the relevant condition) for claims directly, or indirectly resulting from them, or anyone in their travelling party, or anyone on whose health the trip may depend, have suffered from, or been treated for, or diagnosed with, any of the following medical conditions in the 12 months before the issue date of the policy:

• a) a cardiovascular or heart related condition (heart attack, angina, chest pain, hypertension, and the like;
• b) a lung or respiratory related condition (not including asthma, when it is controlled and have no other medical condition);
• c) cancer;
• d) a psychological condition;
• e) a terminal condition.

2) Passengers will not be covered for any claim arising from a medical condition of someone they were going to stay with, a relative, a business associate, a travelling companion, or anyone on whose health the trip may depend if they are aware of the medical condition at the time the policy was issued.

3) Passengers will not be covered if they have a medical condition, if they are travelling against medical advice or for which medical advice should have been sought before commencing the journey.

4) Passengers will not be covered if they know they will need medical treatment during the journey or they are travelling specifically to get medical treatment.

5) Passengers will not be covered if they have a medical condition for which treatment is awaited as a hospital in-patient or have a medical condition that is under investigation when the policy was issued.

6) Passengers will not be covered for claims relating to pregnancy or childbirth, where the pregnancy is more than 28 weeks at the end of a journey within Europe and 24 weeks outside Europe.

7) Passengers must tell us if their state of health changes before they commence any insured trip i.e. if they develop a new condition or a pre-existing condition deteriorates.

We have the right to amend, restrict, or cancel your cover under this policy.
